CTC (Crush, Tear, Curl) Tea Grades refer to the classification of black tea based on leaf size and appearance after processing. The main grades include Broken Pekoe (BP), Broken Pekoe 1 (BP1), Pekoe Fanning (PF), Pekoe Dust (PD), and Dust. BP and BP1 produce strong liquors with rich color and brisk flavor, ideal for blends. PF and PD yield quick infusions, perfect for tea bags, while Dust produces a bold, dark brew. These grades determine flavor intensity, quality, and market value.
